Most of my favourite perfumes are from the floral family - Jo Malone Wild Bluebell and Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb are just two examples. Enter the latest addition to my floral lineup and my newest obsession; Chloé Eau de Parfum.
I'm not sure what to rave about first - maybe I should start with the vintage glass bottle with a silver plated collar, embossed simply with "Chloé" and the classic nude pink bow. It's luxurious and timeless, deserving pride of place on the dressing table (and later Instagram). Now for the scent itself and what's inside the bottle is just as beautiful as the outside. The top notes`are a mixture of freesia, lychee and peony, which slowly drift away to reveal the heart notes of lily of the valley, magnolia and rose. The base notes of amber and cedarwood give the otherwise traditional floral scent a lovely warm, woody edge. Chloé Eau de Parfum truly is a gorgeous perfume, one that is feminine and sophisticated and transcends age. When I wore this for the first time, I had one of those "ooh what smells so good... oh it's me" moments! It's strong but not overpowering, which it means it lasts well through the day, I'd say around six hours or so.
If you're looking to treat yourself or someone you love, perhaps your partner for Valentine's Day in a few weeks, then I highly recommend considering this perfume. It'll be love at first spray! Find it online here.
Which perfume are you loving right now?

Definitely recommend giving it a whiff if you spot it in Boots etc xx
DeleteThis is my signature scent! Sometimes I'll switch things up by layering it with a simple Jo Malone scent, but this scent is always one to rely on. xx
