I've harped on for years on this blog about the Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation, including it in so many posts from makeup menus to empties to hauls, as well as my initial glowing review many years ago here. If you are after a high coverage, mattifying foundation that will not break you out, then Vichy's foundation is one I will recommend until I'm blue in the face. However my only gripe has always been that the lightest shade is 15 Opal, which really isn't light enough for very pale skin and only works on me with very careful blending.
So when I found out that Vichy have released three new shades of the Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation (and in new sleek, black packaging to boot) including a paler shade called 05 Porcelain, I was over the moon and couldn't wait to try it. Although this still isn't the palest shade out there, it is much better suited to my skintone and therefore application is so much quicker than with 15 Opal. 05 Porcelain is quite yellow in tone, but this doesn't translate at all on the skin. I have included a photo of 05 Porcelain compared to 15 Opal so you can really see the difference between the shades.
The other new shades available in the Vichy Dermablend Fluid Corrective Foundation are suited for darker skins and are 65 Coffee and 75 Espresso. The full price is £18.00 but you can find them online for £15.30 here.
Will you be giving any of the new shades a try?

P.S. This post contains a PR sample. This does not affect my opinion of the product.
I've never used the Dermablend liquid foundation but I used to swear by the stick concealer until they changed the shade range! Off to check if they have introduced a lighter shade to that range now!

Ooh fingers crossed! I tried the stick concealer in Opal and it was too dark, so a lighter shade would be ideal! xx
DeleteSo glad to hear that they have added more shades to the range as it is a lovely foundation and the shade wasn't perfect for me!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! It was definitely needed xx
DeleteI have never actually tried any Vichy products until today, but this sounds really lovely and I was toying with the idea of picking this up today kinda kicking myself now for not. I love that this is matte but doesn’t break you out, and I love that they’ve added more shades. Fab review :)

DeleteOoh the formula of this really does sound perfect! I tend to need the palest shades on offer too, so it's great to hear they've widened their selection! :)

I like the fact that you can sheer it out a little too with a damp beauty sponge, but it still offers great coverage. I tend to need the lighter if not lightest shades too xx
DeleteThis is one of L's favourites! Think I'm going to have to give it a try soon. Love that they've released more shades. Not many brands have a great range of pale shades!
