Scentsational Bodycare

I am a sucker for a good scent and find it can often take a product from hmmmm to oooooh. I have to admit I've even bought products before just based on the scent. Now it's summer and there's a higher chance of more skin being on show, I've been concentrating on bodycare and they all happen to smell darn good.

Treaclemoon Those Lemonade Days Bath and Shower Gel- I love Treaclemoon shower gels because they have an amazing scent range, they come in huge 500ml bottles and they're really affordable considering the size (just £2.99!). Those Lemonade Days has a fantastically fizzy scent that reminds me of lemon sherbet. The formula is quite creamy, creating a thick lather that also works brilliantly as a bubble bath.

Along Came Betty Say You Scrub Me Skin Buffer - I picked this up on a whim from Tesco because I needed a new scrub and the scent sucked me in. The scrub itself is a bit too gentle for me and strangely the gel that holds the exfoliating beads lathers up with water, but who doesn't want to smell of ripe peach, fresh citrus and juicy raspberries?

Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Spray - I posted this new purchase on my Instagram recently as it's probably the most I've ever spent on a body spray (£4.00). Sugar Crush is my favourite S&G scent though and definitely an overall favourite - a zesty, reviving mixture of lime, lemon and ginger with brown sugar and vanilla musk that's perfect for sleepy mornings.

Original Source Skin Quench Watermelon and Jojoba Oil Quick Dry Moisturising Oil Spray - Not only does this smell absolutely gorgeous (fresh yet fruity) but it may just have hit the top spot of all the body moisturisers I've tried. I'm very lazy with moisturising (apart from my face) and the combination of a dry yet nourishing oil, with a spray applicator that barely needs rubbing in, is a winner for the lazy girl in me.

Garnier Summer Body Moisturising Lotion in Light - I love this gradual tan lotion from Garnier; I use it in the summer on my legs to take the edge off their white, pasty hue. The formula isn't too light nor too heavy and very softening on the skin. What makes it stand out from the other gradual tans out there is the apricot scent - hello summer.

What are your scentsational bodycare picks?

I absolutely adore Treaclemoon too! They last such a long time and they are so reasonably priced, haven't tried 'lemonade days' so will have to pop that one on my wishlist!

  8. I'm looking forward to trying the Original Source oil in the future once I've got through the lotion version. Although I may have to try out the coconut one of the lotion first. This reminded me I need to start building up a gradual tan on my legs as I've got a wedding coming up in a few weeks and although my arms have caught the sun my legs are still see through! x
