Every month I excitedly await the product preview for the You Beauty Discovery Box and its subsequent arrival. I've been subbed for quite awhile now (it's just £6.95 per month) and have discovered so many amazing products through it, such as the DHC Cleansing Oil and Therapie Himalayan Detox Salts.
The theme for June's You Beauty Discovery Box is Beauty Heroes, paying homage to brands that have released "fantastic, stand out products". Out of the 9 available, I chose the following...
My first choice was easy - it had to be the Nude ProGenius Omega Treatment Rescue Oil. Nude is one of those brands I've heard so much about but never got round to trying and this oil sounds like a good introduction. It is designed to clarify, smooth and refine the complexion, whilst providing protection from environmental stresses. This 5ml mini is worth £9.67.
I wasn't quite sure what to go for for my second choice. I nearly went for the Crownbrush C436 Mini Duo Fibre Brush, but I realised I already owned it. I then looked at the Inika Certified Organic Primer, but I was worried that coconut oil in it would break me out. I ended up picking a brand and product I've never heard of before - the Yin Yang Skincare pH Amino Gold Defence Lotion, which can be used on face and body, as I do love a good multi-tasking product. I think I will pop this in my handbag if I ever need some hydration on the go. The 10ml size is worth approx. £0.90.
I love the extra treats this month - a pack of Urban Fruit Dried Mango (delicious), a Good To Go Anywhere wipe trio containing a flushable sanitising wet wipe, dry tissue and cleansing wipe (handy) and two Clipper teabags - Organic Green Tea and Red Fruits and Aronia Berry (refreshing).
All in all I'm really pleased with what I received. If you're interested in this month's You Beauty Discovery Box, other brands available include Sanctuary Spa, Xen-Tan, Calvin Klein, Amie and Exuviance. Find it online here.
What do you think of this month's box?
