May Empties #3

The end of another month means another empties post - they're one of my favourite posts to read and write! The only thing is they have a habit of reminding me of how time flies - I can't quite believe we're nearly half way through the year already! Without further ado let's go through all my empty pots, bottles and sachets and find out whether they're re-purchase worthy...

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel 100g
Every Christmas I just can't not pick up a Snow Fairy Shower Gel and this one came from last year's sale - even better! I just love the bright pink colour and the sweet candy floss scent.
Re-purchase? Absolutely.

I've had two or three bottles of this over the years and I think it'll be one I always come back to. It's such a refreshing scent that combines floral and fruity notes including Pineapple, Honeydew Melon, Lotus Blossom and Waterlily. It makes me think of being by the sea, one of my happy places.
Re-purchase? Yes.

I really enjoyed using this body scrub - it has a intense, masculine scent and I love the formula. The scrub contains real poppy seeds suspended in a thick cream for a thorough exfoliate whilst leaving the skin soft. Full review here.
Re-purchase? Not at the moment as I think the scent is too dark for summer.

Although this hasn't run out, it's a few years old and has gone gloopy and sticky. I initially used it as a intensive nail strengthening treatment over 4 weeks, then as a base coat for nail varnish. This huge bottle is well worth the price - it's so effective! Full review here.
Re-purchase? I will definitely buy a second bottle.

Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer SPF15 1ml Sachet - Free (worth approx. £1.73)
This sachet came free with a Space NK order and I raved about it in my recent 5 Mini Reviews post. This is the best primer I've ever tried; it provides the smoothest base for foundation and keeps it in place alllllllll day long.
Purchase full size? I'm planning to pick up the 10ml bottle, as the price of the 30ml is just a bit too eye watering (£52.00)!

Suitable for oily, blemish prone skin, I've actually used this serum before and the sachet reminded me how much I like it! It helps reduce inflammation using Sesame Seed Extract and Saw Palmetto and has a really noticeable effect when used overnight. Full review here.
Purchase full size? Maybe in future, I'm a little attached to my Effaclar Duo+ at the moment!

What products have you used up this month? Are you a fan of any of the above?

  7. I've heard such good things about that primer but that price tag is kind of insane! Might have to treat myself at some point.
