I first saw this post over on Vicki's blog Let's Talk Beauty and thought it was such a lovely, personal post to read - so positive and inspiring. I'm definitely a person that tends to look at the glass half empty, so this was the perfect challenge for me!
1. The people I love - my husband, my family, my friends
2. My dog Daisy - she is my baby!
3. The sea - there's something so magical and peaceful about being by the sea
4. A good cup of tea
5. Blog comments - every single one I receive is still such a big thing to me
6. Candles - there's rarely a day that goes by that I don't burn one!
7. Makeup and skincare - obviously
8. Photographs - one of the best ways to capture a memory
9. Watching trashy TV - Geordie Shore, TOWIE, that kind of thing!
10. A night in with my husband, snuggling up and watching a film
11. Walks in the countryside
12. Giving a gift and seeing the person's (hopefully happy) response
13. Snow days
14. Good food - currently obsessed with olives, which I previously hated!
15. Crossing items off of my to do list
16. Writing / blogging
17. Going to watch live music and comedy (seeing Foo Fighers in June - eek!)
18. Clear skin
19. When my husband does chores without me having to ask!!
20. Sleep - I either go to bed too late or I just can't sleep, either way I don't get enough and so when I do it's AMAZING
21. Finding a bargain
22. Sunshine
23. Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Cologne - it reminds me of my wedding day
24. A relaxing bubble bath

25. Getting lost in a good book, especially a trilogy - just starting The Maze Runner
26. Bank holidays - you can't beat a 3 day weekend!
27. Holidays in general
28. Watching people close to me getting married
29. Children's films - they never fail! Shrek, Despicable Me, Robots - love 'em!
30. Flowers - such as the beautiful ones my husband bought me in this photo
31. Roast dinner on a Sunday
32. Oreos
33. Days where I don't need to wake up to an alarm and can turn it off the night before
34. New clothes - I don't buy them that often as makeup and skincare normally comes first!
35. Citrus scents - especially in the morning
36. A girls night out laughing, chatting and dancing
37. Listening to my favourite songs
38. An unexpected compliment
39. A cwtch - plus it's one of my favourite words!
40. My husband doing so well with his own business
41. A summer BBQ with a glass of Pimms
42. The festive season
43. Pushing myself out of my comfort zone - and it paying off
44. An beautiful view
45. The postman arriving with parcels (#paydaytreats #feelingspendy)
46. That getting-into-bed-with-clean-sheets feeling
47. A tidy house
48. Those three little words
49. A good hair and makeup day
50. It's cheesy - but seeing other people happy
