I'm not sure I've ever had so many products from Lush in my life at the same time; the whole upstairs of my house has smelt amazing over the last few weeks! This whole lotta Lush isn't due to a big spending spree however, I was very spoiled by my work colleagues for my birthday/wedding, as they know I love the shop. I'm so grateful and so excited because most of the products are completely new to me.
Golden Egg Bath Melt - From the Easter range is this bright and sparkly, honey and toffee scented bath melt. I can't wait to use this as apparently it has a bath bomb inside the melting outer layer. Containing Cocoa Butter, Sweet Wild Orange Oil and Olive Oil, I'm hoping this will be as super hydrating on the skin as it sounds.
Rose Jam Bubbleroon - I missed out on the Rose Jam Shower Gel at Christmas, so this is giving me my jammy fix. I adore the Rose, Lemon and Geranium scent! I've not used a bubbleroon before, but I believe it's two small bubble bars sandwiched together by a layer of Shea Butter. Will be crumbling this into a bath ASAP.
Ultrabland Facial Cleanser - This is very different to any cleanser I've used before. It's a rich, oily cream made up of ingredients including Almond Oil, Rose Water, Honey and Beeswax that doesn't emulsify, which is taking a bit of getting used to! However it removes makeup (including eye makeup) brilliantly and is super gentle and soft on the skin.
Jason and the Argan Oil Shampoo Bar - I admit, it was the Rose Jam scent that drew me to this particular shampoo bar. I've only used it a handful of times but the Argan Oil seems to work brilliantly for my dry, frizz prone hair. The application is much easier than I expected; the bar lathers easily and it doesn't take a lot of bubbles to give my hair a thorough cleanse.
American Cream Conditioner - After hearing about this strawberry vanilla milkshake conditioner from Amy at Srslylou, I was instantly sold. Again I've only used it a few times, but the creamy strawberry and avocado rich formula is softening and moisturising. Plus in conjunction with the shampoo bar, it makes my hair smell AMAZING.
A French Kiss Bubble Bar - I've used this before and will be saving it for one of my sleepless phases! Lavender Oil and Lavender Absolute give it a wonderfully strong but not overwhelming scent, that relaxes and calms so effectively a good night's sleep is pretty much guaranteed.
Rose Bubble Bar - Containing Turkish Rose Absolute and Cocoa Butter, this is one pretty looking and romantic sounding bubble bar. It's quite small so I used this all in one go to create a soft pink bath, with a gentle floral scent. It wasn't particularly skin softening though and overall I thought it was nice, but it didn't blow me away.
Have you tried any of these products? What are you loving from Lush right now?

It's so nice to use but there's so many nice sounding ones to choose from! xx
DeleteI love Lush Ultrabland, it's definitely my favourite cleanser. The shampoo bar sounds lovely, although not sure if I'd like a bar of shampoo rather than liquid!

It is very odd using a bar instead of liquid but it's not as much of a hassle as I thought it might be. It's one of those products you either love or don't I think! xx
DeleteRose Jam just smells like heaven on earth doesn't it? Love their Bubbleroon! Also a big fan of Ultrabland and American Cream - enjoy! :) x

DeleteOoh, those all look amazing! I haven't tried any Lush products for years so I'll look forward to reading your thoughts on them. The Ultrabland cleanser sounds like it could be great x
ReplyDeleteThanks Kat, I will definitely be posting some individual reviews :-) xx
DeleteI have a tub of Ultrabland upstairs but I'm really not that keen on it. It's just so thick and I've got no choice but to use a muslin cloth to help remove it and then my cloth is covered in all of my makeup and looks filthy, which I really don't like. Also despite this apparently being really gentle I find it irritates my eyes slightly. So I don't think it's one for me x
ReplyDeleteBecky @ The Little Blog of Beauty
What a shame it didn't work for you. It's definitely one to remove with a muslin cloth, though I remove most of my cleansers this way xx
