I use face serum morning and night, so I like to alternate between different serums based on what my skin needs at the time. I currently target blemishes with the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ (review) and combat dryness with the Antipodes Hosanna H20 Intensive Skin Plumping Serum (review). I've recently added a new serum to my skincare arsenal to bring some radiance to my skin when it's looking dull - the Botanicals Radiance Serum.
The Botanicals Radiance Serum is 100% natural and 99% organic, with key ingredients such as Avocado Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Rosehip Oil and Grapeseed Oil. This blend of ingredients is rich in unsaturated fatty acids and potassium, which promotes revitalised, healthy and younger looking skin. This serum is suitable for all skintypes, costing £25.95 for a 30ml bottle.
Although a serum, in terms of formula it looks like an oil and so comes with a pipette to dispense it; however it is much richer and thicker in consistency than any oils I've tried. For these reasons I find that it takes quite awhile to absorb, so it isn't one to use when you're in a rush and waiting to apply your moisturiser on top. I find myself reaching for it much more at night than in the morning (because I'm never on time first thing!). Botanicals advise applying the Radiance Serum to damp skin, which I recommend as it takes longer to sink in if you don't - I spritz on a toner such as the La Roche-Posay Serozinc and then massage it into my skin. It also works well mixed in with a moisturiser. The Botanicals Radiance Serum really is the perfect cold weather product; it packs a serious punch in the hydration department and turns my skin from dull and flat to glowy and plump.
The Botanicals Radiance Serum is in the higher end of the price bracket, but considering that it contains all natural ingredients and you only need a couple of drops for each use, I think it is well worth it. It'll last for ages and your skin will love you for it. Find it online here.
Have you tried the Botanicals Radiance Serum? What serum do you use for more radiant skin?

The packaging of this product is so stunning, love it. It sounds so interesting, I don't mind spending a little more on a serum as they usually end up being really good.

It's pretty isn't it? Quite a vintage design on the label :-) I tend to spend a bit more on a serum too xx
DeleteI'm always up for trying serums that contain a lot of oil! They do my dry skin the world of good - love mixing them with my night cream.

I love mixing oils with my moisturiser! Sometimes I go all out and do a serum underneath that ;-) this one doesn't need an oil on top though :-) xx
DeleteWow, it sounds absolutely lovely. I've only started using serums in the last few months, and I've loved trying new ones and including them in my routine.

I've only been using serums a few years and now I wonder how I lived without them!! xx
DeleteThis sounds lovely - I'm currently looking for a serum that is light enough not to overwhelm my skin, but is still hydrating! x

I wouldn't say this particularly light but it is very hydrating. The Antipodes one I mentioned is super light, so that may be more suitable xx
DeleteThis sounds absolutely lovely! Really like everything I've tried from Botanicals so far, their ingredients are fab :) x

Definitely recommend it :-) xx
DeleteI am in love with facial serums and use about two to three at any given day for additional benefits. This sounds like it would work well with my routine. <3

This is quite different in formula to any other serum I have, so this is a nice addition to my collection! xx
Deletei've never tried a serum but everyone seems to love them, this one does sound really nice :)

They're designed to penetrate deeper into the skin then moisturiser or oil, so would be worth considering adding one to your routine :-) xx
