My Favourite Skincare Discoveries of 2014

When it comes to skincare I can be quite fussy about what I use, however I've found some real gems this year, which I can't wait to share. Don't you love it when you find something that works for you?! (If you missed it, you can also find out my favourite makeup discoveries of 2014 here.)

It feels like I've been using the REN ClearCalm3 Clarifying Clay Cleanser (review) for forever; I can't imagine it not being in my life! The thick, creamy formula works great as a second nighttime cleanse as it removes excess oil but keeps skin hydrated, whilst being incredibly soothing on painful breakouts.

Another cleanser I've loved this year is the Green People Gentle Cleanse and Makeup Remover (not pictured) (review), which does just what it says on the bottle! It's another thick, creamy formula, which gently removes my makeup and leaves my skin super soft and moisturised. I could massage this into my skin for hours! I need to hurry up and buy another bottle.

I use toner every day, morning and night, and my hydrating toner of choice has been the Organic Surge Orange Flower Toner (review). I still can't believe that a 200ml bottle of 98.89% natural ingredients is under £10.00 at only £7.50 (though the price has gone up by a pound recently - cheeky). This leaves my skin refreshed and soothed, ready for a serum to be applied.

After toner at night I've been regularly reaching for the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo[+] (review), which I use as a serum before moisturiser/facial oil. This is the best anti-blemish product I've come across to date - it helps reduce the appearance of breakouts brilliantly (though it is a bit slower with those cystic type nasties) and has even improved my skin's texture in places.

In 2014 I added a new facial oil to my stash after realising there was a gaping hole for a pure Rosehip Oil; enter the Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil (review). When in conjunction with regular exfoliation, this bright orange and very concentrated oil helps to reduce my red scars much quicker.

HealGel Face* (review) has been such a great discovery for me this year because I've never really fallen in love with a moisturiser until now. The ingredients include Omega 3 Oils and Hyaluronic Acid, which among others, help to re-balance my skin, boost my hydration levels and soothe and improve my breakouts, all at the same time!

Speaking of breakouts, when they rear their ugly heads I've been using the brilliant Elemental Herbology Face Detox Purifying Mask (review) to help stop them in their tracks. This clay based mask is great at reducing inflammation, especially with lumpy, cystic-esque spots, but doesn't dry out or irritate my skin.

I've definitely found some real keepers this year, though I still can't wait to discover more skincare goodness in 2015! What have been your favourite skincare discoveries of 2014?

My Favourite Makeup Discoveries of 2014

I found it really easy to pick my favourite makeup discoveries of 2014 - I found loads of fantastic products this year! What I actually found difficult was narrowing them down!

I have to start with possibly my favourite discovery of the year - the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer, which I have in the shade Vanilla (review). I'm on my second tube now and although it's pricey, it's just so, so good that it's worth it! The seriously creamy formula provides fantastic natural looking coverage, making it suitable for dark circles and spots.

Thanks to the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (review) I am now a matte eyeshadow convert. It contains 6 neutral shades, with one being "demi-matte" so it can be used to highlight the inner corner. I also love using the darkest shade Crave as an eyeliner, with Walk of Shame all over the lid and Naked2 in the crease and outer corner.

Another eyeshadow I've loved this year is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow Paint in Rich Russet (review). I love the sparkling bronze-brown shade that is a one wash wonder - the formula is a cream but quite wet, so I sweep it across my lids with the spatula-esque end and pat it out with my fingers and I'm done!

When it comes to eye makeup I've also recently re-discovered kohl eyeliner in the form of the Bourjois Contour Clubbing Eyeliner in Up and Brown. I have a review of this coming very soon, but for now I'll just say that the creamy formula glides across my upper lashline like a dream and lasts throughout a working day. It's love!

Another fab find from Bourjois is their 1 Seconde Volume Mascara. I haven't reviewed this because I bought it at the time that everyone and their dog was reviewing it on their blog, but I now have the Ultra Black version and must make sure I dedicate a post to it. It can be hard to find a good quality, budget mascara from the high street but this does a great job - it lengthens, creates volume and holds a curl.

All year I've been using the same primer to keep my foundation in place - the Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer (review). It's specially for oily, acne-prone and sensitive skin, so perfect for me; I love the formula as it feels and looks just like a moisturiser. It stops my foundation breaking down and helps it stay in place a lot longer.

In 2014 I bought quite a few new blushers, all of which I love, but if I had to choose one it would have to be the Max Factor Miracle Touch Creamy Blush in Soft Pink (review). It's the perfect shade for a beautiful glow and gives a really a natural looking flush of colour.

Generally on a day to day basis I like simple, fuss free makeup and the No7 Instant Radiance Highlighter (review) fits that bill - it means I now actually use highlighter on regularly! This shimmery nude comes in stick form so I just literally swipe it across the top of my cheekbones and blend it out for subtle, pretty radiance.

I also must mention the Green People Pressed Powder SPF15 in Porcelain Pale (review) because this has featured in empties posts countless times over the last 12 months. I keep re-purchasing it as it's hard to find a talc free, pressed powder that isn't over £20.00. It's also the perfect shade and finely milled so doesn't sit heavily on the skin.

Onto nail polish now and in the summer I was absolutely obsessed with the Maybelline Forever Strong Super Stay Gel Nail Colour in Uptown Blue (review). Unfortunately I forgot to include this in my main picture, so I've included the separate swatch picture so you can see why it's been a favourite. I am in love with the colour of this polish; it's the perfect balance between pastel and bright. I've bought more shades from the Maybelline Forever Strong range since as I'm a big fan of the wide brush for easy application and I get a good five days wear time.

Thanks for staying with me through this post! I'd love to know what your favourite makeup discoveries of 2014 are? Keep an eye out for my favourite skincare discoveries post, which will be going up in a day or two.

You Beauty Discovery Box December 2014

Last month I posted about my first You Beauty Discovery Box, which I was absolutely over the moon with. I've decided to keep the subscription running for a few more months a) because the box is so affordable at £6.95 inc. P&P and b) I want to see if the products to choose from are just as good every month! This month's You Beauty Discovery Box has a theme of "Party Prep".

The first product I chose was the COLAB London and Rio Dry Shampoo Duo (50ml each). London has a "classic" scent and Rio has a fresh, citrus scent. This is the dry shampoo launched with Ruth Crilly from A Model Recommends and I've wanted to try it since it was released, so I'm very excited to see if it's as good as everyone says!

For the second product it took me awhile to decide between either the Nourish Golden Glow Toning Body Shimmer (2ml) or the Kneipp Lavender Herbal Bath Oil (20ml). In the end I chose the latter, as despite my mountain of bath products, I don't have any lavender scented ones! I would have said that this was more for post party, however it does say that it helps combat fatigue, so maybe it would be good for one of those getting-ready-slowly-all-afternoon occasions! Other product options were from the brands Halo, Wilkinson Sword, Amie, Nip + Fab and Teeez.

Every box also includes a cute little Lindt chocolate bear, a sachet of the Yardley London Hydrating and Enriching Body Lotion and two sachets of Le Couvent des Minimes Hiker's Foot Healer.

Although I don't think this box is as good as November's, I still think it's a great little box. I haven't tried any of the brands before (apart from Lindt chocolate of course!), so the You Beauty Discovery Box is definitely living up to its name!

What do you think of this month's You Beauty Discovery Box? If you're subscribed what products did you choose?

Review: INM Northern Lights OTD Top Coats in Gold and Silver

I'm all for discovering new brands and INM is the latest one to appear on my radar. Based in California, INM have a range of nail products including colour polishes, top coats and cuticle oils. My huge nail varnish collection now includes their Northern Lights OTD Top Coats in Gold and Silver.

The Northern Lights range is a mixture of INM's Out The Door (OTD) Top Coat, which is a fast drying top coat and small holographic film particles in Gold and Silver. The particles collect at the bottom of the polish, so the bottle needs a good shake before application! Once on the nail, some of the Gold and Silver transforms into pretty multi-coloured particles and the polish itself dries super quick. In the photos I've applied two coats of both shades, which you can see is still quite subtle, however as the drying time is so fast it could be layered further. The finish of Northern Lights is super pretty, especially when it catches the light and the mixture of colours gives a more 3D effect. The Gold shade seems to be more concentrated than the Silver, but because the holographic particles are so small, it's quite hard to tell the difference between the two shades unless you look very closely.

The INM Northern Lights OTD Top Coats in Gold and Silver cost £9.35 each and can be bought here. I personally don't think you need both in your collection, however they both look very pretty and I'm sure any magpie would love having these on their nails! They're a great alternative if you're not a fan of in-your-face glitter nails. I love the fact that they're a top coat too, so perfect if you're in a rush. I'm considering buying the plain Out The Door Top Coat as it works fabulously.

What do you think of the INM Northern Lights OTD Top Coats? Are you a fan of sparkly nails?

Review: La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo[+]

The La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo has been around for quite awhile, but it was something I never bought into. However when they released the new [+] version, I was definitely intrigued. After reading some positive blog reviews and suffering with a bout of really bad skin, it ended up being something I just had to try.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo[+] is designed to target the key signs of oily, blemish prone skin and can be used daily, either alone or with a moisturiser. It claims to help correct the appearance of blemishes, refine skin texture, unclog blocked pores and control shine. It also helps to fight marks, which is the added benefit of the Duo[+] compared to the original Duo. This isn't a natural product and I'm not familiar with many of the ingredients - highlighted ones include ProceradTM, Linoleic Acid and Zinc PCA. However I couldn't see anything that I knew I would break me out and decided to rely on the fact that it is sold as non-comedogenic and suitable for acne prone skin. A 40ml tube costs £15.50.

I've been using the Effaclar Duo[+] for around 6 months now. It is fairly thin in consistency and has a creamy, gel-like texture; more akin to the formula of a serum or primer than a moisturiser. It absorbs quickly and isn't drying on the skin. I've found that this works best for me when used at night under a moisturiser or facial oil; even when applying under another product, in the daytime my makeup doesn't sit well over it. Plus using it twice a day has a tendency to make any spots and blemishes go a bit flaky, which makes them difficult to conceal. After only the first time of using the Effaclar Duo[+] I was so impressed - a couple of spots I had were dramatically reduced overnight. After four weeks of nightly use, the cluster of little spots I couldn't previously shift and stop recurring on my forehead, had been banished. But I do think this is a product where the effects are less obvious and impressive with continual use; when I stop using it for a few days I feel like it has much more of an impact. It certainly helps to reduce and heal spots and blemishes much quicker, which lessens the chance of scarring. I haven't noticed the biggest difference when it comes to shine but I do think the texture of my skin has improved, especially on my forehead and chin.

I do understand why there is a lot of hype around the Effaclar Duo[+] and it is definitely the best targeted, overall anti-blemish product I've tried. I don't think it 100% does everything it claims to do, but I will continue to incorporate it into my skincare routine and re-purchase when this tube runs out. It can be bought online here.

Have you tried the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo[+]? Which anti-blemish products do you love?

Luxury Gift Ideas: Molton Brown Gingerlily Perfect Bathing Set and Frankincense and Allspice Festive Hand Wash Bauble

When I think of luxury and indulgence, one of the brands that spring to mind is Molton Brown. If you still are on the hunt for some Christmas gifts, whether a main present or a stocking filler, Molton Brown have plenty of options starting at £10.00. You never know you may find something for yourself at the same time!

You can't go wrong with a beauty themed bauble at Christmas and there's something so simplistically stunning about their Hand Wash Bauble. It has a spicy, aromatic but slightly sweet scent of Allspice, Frankincense and Vetiver, which is perfect for the festive season. Hang it on the tree and then in the bathroom - it will not only look amazing but the thick, foaming gel will leave your skin clean and refreshed. However Molton Brown have also very practically made the bottom of the bauble flat, so it can be sat on a surface if more convenient.

Gingerlily Perfect Bathing Set (Limited Edition) - £45.00

Everything about this set just screams indulgence. I was wowed by the beautiful packaging before I even got to the products inside; the box is patterned with Molton Brown's circular logo and simply finished with a cream ribbon. Lift off the lid and you are presented with three products; a 300ml Gingerlily Body Wash, 300ml Gingerlily Nourishing Body Lotion and a Gingerlily Mini Candle.

The fragrance is a divine blend of Ginger Oil, Tuberose and Cedarwood, which is a warming, spicy, woody scent and now one that I absolutely adore. The body wash is a thick gel that lathers up well and feels soft on the skin. Follow up with the light but creamy body lotion, which is great for everyday hydration thanks to White Lily and Polynesian Tamunu Nut Oil, and you are left with the most amazing smelling skin! The scent lingers for absolutely ages afterwards.

The Gingerlily Mini Candle is small but perfectly formed in its glass casing in a festive orange colour. I'd say I got about 8-10 hours burn time and to really enjoy the scent, I'd recommend burning it in a smaller room otherwise it does get lost.

What do you think of Molton Brown's Christmas Gift Range? Have you tried any of their products and if so, which is your favourite?

Review: Lush Holly Golightly Bubble Bar

A few Saturdays ago I'd had a bit of a rubbish day and as I was very close to a Lush store, I decided to buy some make-myself-feel-better treats. One of these treats came in the form of the Holly Golightly Bubble Bar. At £4.75 it's quite an expensive bubble bar, but at the time that didn't matter...!

Holly Golightly is quite a large, thick bubble bar and looks like a brightly coloured, shimmering Christmas cake with a sprig of holly on top. What attracted me to it is the scent - containing Patchouli, Persian Lime, Clove Leaf and Sweet Orange Essential Oils you get this gorgeously festive aroma that is spicy and warming, but still has a hint of sweet citrus.

I got two uses out of Holly Golightly, each time enjoying a layer of foamy bubbles and water that turns into a rich green. The scent is perfectly balanced; it's refreshing but not too uplifting for an evening bath and it's relaxing but won't make you fall asleep! The only thing I would say is that's a bit too subtle - I don't whether this is simply because I used half of the bar each time or whether this is how it's meant to be. However it is a gorgeous scent and after discovering that the shower gel Hot Toddy has the same scent, I have added it to my wishlist.

You can find out more about Holly Golightly or buy it for yourself online here.

Have you tried the Holly Golightly Bubble Bar? What products are you loving from this year's Lush Christmas range?

Green Gift Idea: Conscious Skincare Indulgent Organic Mini Spa Set

I love it when brands create sets from their product range; it's a great (and often more affordable) way to be introduced to a new brand or to discover more products from a brand you've used before. Plus they tend to be presented in pretty boxes or bags, so they make fantastic gifts too. If you're a fan of natural, organic skincare or know someone that is, then the Conscious Skincare Indulgent Organic Mini Spa Set is a potential gift or treat to check out.

Conscious Skincare is based in West Wales, making hand blended skincare from natural ingredients in recycled or recyclable packaging. I have tried a few of their products before and been really impressed with the quality and the delicious scents. The Indulgent Organic Mini Spa Set includes six of Conscious Skincare's favourite body products in 50ml bottles and pots, packaged in an organic, fair-trade cotton bag. The bag is handmade in India by ladies who were formerly trafficked in the sex industry and each one is unique, as the inner lining is made from recycled sarees. The body products are;

Grapefruit and Cedarwood Body Wash
Sweet Orange and Frangipani Body Oil
Grapefruit and Cedarwood Body Lotion
Grapefruit and Rosewood Bath Soak
Body Polish - can be purchased in your choice of scent
Body Butter - can be purchased in your choice of scent

My favourite scent is the Grapefruit and Cedarwood - I'm having a real moment with grapefruit right now and the mixture of zingy and woody scents works so well together! My favourite products would have to be the body polish, which contains fair-trade, organic sugar for a really invigorating scrub and the body oil, a dry oil that absorbs into the skin quickly and leaves my skin feeling beautifully soft and nourished.

This set only costs £19.99, which I think is great value - you can purchase it online from Conscious Skincare direct here. Conscious Skincare also produce facial skincare, handcare, cold pressed oils and have many other gift sets available, so I recommend checking out the rest of their range!

Have you tried any products by Conscious Skincare?

A Christmas Beauty Bargain: Ciaté Tree Trinket Set

When I wrote the post My Favourite Christmas Beauty Baubles of 2014, I included one of the individual Ciaté Tree Trinkets. When searching for a link for the product I came across the Ciaté Tree Trinket Set on the TkMaxx website. This was released last year for £30.00, containing six baubles with 5ml Ciaté nail polishes inside in six different shades. On the TkMaxx website it was listed for just £16.99 and it was one of those situations where I left the website, then couldn't stop thinking about what a bargain it was. Inevitably I went back online later on and the offer of free delivery sealed the deal.

The six baubles are made of plastic, decorated with little snowflakes and Ciaté's trademark black bow. The box also includes ties and tags so they can be given as gifts and hung on the Christmas tree. The shades included are all glitters and are;

GlitterBall - Glittering purple

All Aglow - Vintage gold with tiny flecks of red

Naughty or Nice - Deep midnight blue with flecks of purple and green

Blizzard - Frosty platinum silver

Candy Cane - Cerise pink

Yule Rules - Twinkling turquoise

I haven't swatched these because I intend to give most of them as presents - and what cute and unique presents they are! Unfortunately when writing this post I found that the Ciaté Tree Trinket Set had disappeared from the TkMaxx website, but hopefully if you want to get your hands on one they will still be in the stores. Although they do have the Mini Manicure Advent Calendars at 60% off RRP here! If you heart is set on the Tree Trinkets they can still all be bought separately in their own little boxes for £8.00 each from Boots, ASOS and also from Ciaté direct, who are currently offering 2 for £12.00 here

What do you think of the Ciaté Tree Trinkets? Have you picked up any Christmas beauty bargains recently?

Review: Claudia Louch Botanical Face Cream with Deep Line Complex

Although my skin is combination/oily (though nowhere near as oily as it used to be), when the winter comes if I'm not careful with what skincare I use, it can easily become dry or dehydrated. Although I don't particularly have any deep lines to address, the Claudia Louch Botanical Face Cream with Deep Line Complex has been a welcome addition to my hydrating skincare lineup.

Containing 94% natural ingredients including Aloe Vera Gel, Vitamin E, Vegetable Glycerin, African Shea Butter and Jojoba, Avocado and Grape Seed Oils, the mild and gentle formula of the Botanical Night Cream is designed for normal to dry, sensitive and mature skins. This cream is absolutely packed full of hydrating ingredients and the Grape Seed Oil has added benefits of having anti-ageing properties that help to tighten, tone and soothe the skin.

Although I have occasionally used this in the mornings, the rich, velvety formula is generally more suited to the nighttime as it takes a bit longer to absorb (and I'm always in a rush!). The Botanical Face Cream feels seriously silky on the skin and despite the high content of oils, it doesn't actually feel oily nor does it leave any greasy residue, but it does give that nourishing, brightening boost that you get from a separate facial oil. Claudia Louch clearly have formulated the perfect combination of ingredients here. I don't particularly feel that my skin has benefited from any toning or tightening, though I would imagine if there were to be, it would be quite a natural and subtle effect based on the ingredients list.

The Claudia Louch Botanical Face Cream with Deep Line Complex is priced at £61.50, so is very much in the high end bracket when it comes to price. I would recommend it if you don't like using facial oils but want a product that gives you many of the benefits of one, or if you simply want to cut down on using a separate moisturiser and oil. I like this cream very much, but on the other hand I am very fond of my Antipodes and Pai facial oils and I find myself reaching more for these of an evening.

Have you tried the Claudia Louch Botanical Face Cream? What are your favourite nighttime facial moisturisers/oils?

Beauty News: La Roche-Posay Serozinc Comes To The U.K.

It's not often that I post about the latest beauty news or releases, but I'm pretty excited about this one... The famous La Roche-Posay Serozinc is coming to the U.K! I have wanted to try this product for absolutely ages, but it has generally only been available in the French pharmacies, with the odd eBay seller selling it in the U.K at a fairly high price. Serozinc is a toning mist containing Zinc Sulphate, which is meant to purify blemish-prone, troublesome skin, although skincare guru Caroline Hirons has advised that it is suitable for other skintypes to try too.

As of 1st January 2015 it will be in stock on the website Escentual for 15% off RRP at £7.22, however it is already available to pre-order here. I've placed my order!

Have you tried La Roche-Posay Serozinc? Will you be placing an order?

Tag: The Things That Make Christmas

Thank you so much Becky from Lil Blog of Beauty for tagging me to do The Things That Make Christmas Tag. The rules of the tag are simple - to share the 5 things that make Christmas for you. Spending time with family and friends is of course a given, so without further ado, here's what else made the shortlist...

1. The Scents
I am a huge believer that scents make a real difference to your mood and wellbeing. As soon as I get any hint of cinnamon, ginger, apple, pine, berry or any other scent associated with Christmas, I instantly start to feel festive. A friend bought me some new wax tarts the other day to see me through the Christmas period; Christmas Eve, Sweet Apple and Apple Spice Pot Pourri. They smell amazing!

2. The Decorations
Nothing cements Christmas like putting the tree up and getting creative with the decorations. Me and my other half put on Christmas songs and it's just one of those warming, happy times! Also driving home from work in the dark is so much more enjoyable when you get to pass the pretty lights on the houses and twinkling Christnas trees in the windows.

3. The Christmas Markets
A group of us plan a Christmas market trip for the day every year.; this year we're going to the one in Bath. It's not as big as the one in Birmingham but it's a great market, plus Bath is beautiful to walk around. I just love browsing the little, wooden huts with a cup of mulled wine and a hot pork or sausage roll.

4. The Food and Drink
I can't wait until my other half's Mum makes her homemade mince pies; Christmas wouldn't be the same without them! Plus please give me all the gingerbread in the world, along with the Starbucks Honey and Almond Hot Chocolate; I'm in love with the stuff. Combining the two, I made a gingerbread hot chocolate this weekend too after finding this recipe by Leah Talks. I highly recommend giving it a try - it's really easy to do and had the perfect kick of warming, spicy gingerbread. I'm also thinking about having a go at making mulled wine this year.

5. The Fashion
At the end of November I was dying to put on my "Merry Christmas You Filthy Animal" jumper!  (Got to love Home Alone 2!) The shops have had their Christmas jumpers out for sale for what already seems like ages. I also love that it's much more acceptable to bring out the glitter and sparkle - glittery nails, sparkly dresses and dazzling eyeshadows.

What makes Christmas for you? If you decide to do this tag after reading my post, please leave the link in the comments below!

NOTD: Clear as Crystal

My Dad got married yesterday (such an amazing day!) and for the occasion I bought a gorgeous, sparkling silver bag from the Dune concession in my local House of Fraser to go with my outfit. I thought it would be fun to co-ordinate my nails with the bag and made my way to Boots to pick up a new nail polish. I ended up purchasing Light Up from the Maybelline Color Show Crystallize range for £3.99.

Light Up is packed full of silver glitter in varying sizes, meaning I only needed two coats to get full on sparkling nails with an almost encrusted, 3D effect. The glitter gives the polish a textured finish and it still feels a little rough to the touch even after applying a clear top coat (which I always do). I am a complete magpie when it comes to nails, so I'm really happy to have this in my collection - it reminds me very much of the Rimmel Space Dust range that was released last year. From what I can see online the Space Dust range is no longer available, so if were a fan and wish you had more shades or never got round to picking one up, then the Maybelline Color Show Crystallize range will satisfy your glittery needs! As well as Light Up, other shades available include Rose Chic, Red Excess and Nearly Black - you can check them out here.

Have you tried any of the Crystallize nail polishes by Maybelline? What's your favourite glitter nail polish?

Review: Let's Go Lashes in Flirt 3

I don't wear false lashes an awful lot, but I love the effect that they can give and how they can completely transform your eyes. I tend to struggle with the application, but as I've kept on trying, I am slowly getting better!

Let's Go Lashes do an absolutely huge range of striplashes; four to be precise, with each range containing 10 different styles. This means that there should be a range and style of eyelashes to suit every person and every kind of mood. For example, the Flirt Striplash range is described as "subtle, pretty and devious". All Let's Go Lashes cost £6.50 each, which includes a little tube of eyelash glue. They are made from real hair and are re-usable. I tried out Flirt 3, which is "the hybrid lash - even subtle and demure can have a high definition impact".

Let's Go Lashes certainly aren't lying about Flirt 3 - these eyelashes are all about the high definition impact. When applied with the supplied adhesive, the lashes reach the bottom of my eyebrows! However I should note here that I do have hooded eyelids, so they may not come out this long on everyone. Flirt 3 are the ones to go for if you really want to make a statement with your eyes; paired with black winged eyeliner they seriously stand out. I personally would prefer something a little more natural looking length wise, however despite their length they feel very comfortable and not heavy on the lids at all.

You can find out more about Let's Go Lashes and see the full range here. They are currently offering 3 pairs of their lashes for just £9.00 using the code LG3FOR9 at checkout!

Have you tried any of the Let's Go Lashes range? What are your favourite eyelashes?

NEOM Organics Christmas Wish Scented Candle

If you love your candles and really want to indulge in a luxurious treat this Christmas, whether for yourself or for a gift, look no further than NEOM Organics. Their candles are easily the best I've tried, thanks to their powerful, long lasting scents with pure essential oils and their even and clean burning; NEOM only use pure vegetable wax in their candles and never use artificial fragrance. Plus they come beautifully packaged.

The Christmas Wish Scented Candle comes in either a 420g jar with 3 wicks or a 185g jar with 1 wick. I've been using the latter, which has an estimated 35 hours burn time. The jar itself is made of thick glass with a beautiful gold design, which is very festive and gives it a luxurious feel. The scent is Mandarin, Cinnamon and Tonka Bean, which is designed to calm and relax the mind. Cinnamon can be quite an overpowering scent, but with the mixture of the citrus Mandarin and creamy Tonka Bean, you have the perfect Christmas scent. It's very comforting, soothing and warming; you won't want to leave the house with this candle lit! After a few hours of burning, the gorgeous fragrance wafts up the stairs, meaning I can still smell it when I go to bed.

For such an amazing candle comes a high price tag - the 1 wick jar is £32.00, but I think it is oh so worth it. Plus for every Christmas Wish Candle sold, NEOM will donate £1.00 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants wishes to children with life threatening conditions. You can find out more on the NEOM website here.

Have you tried any of NEOM Organics candle range? What's your favourite festive candle scent?
