I feel like my mission to cut down my beauty stash is getting there! It can be sad to use up a much loved product, but I'm trying to replace that with a sense of achievement. I spoke about this in my recent Use It or Lose It post here and I've come to realise that wasting a product is a much worse feeling! Here's what I used up in November.
Lush Butterbear Bath Bomb - £1.95
This cute little bear makes for one nourishing bath, with a gorgeous, creamy, vanilla scent. There's no colour with this one, so it's good for a simple bath when your skin's feeling sensitive. Full review here.
Re-purchase? Yes.
Village Candle in Blueberry Muffin - £12.95
My other half bought this for me and he did well! The packaging is very Yankee-esque and having two wicks meant it burnt evenly. The blueberry scent was just lovely too!
Re-purchase? I would definitely get this scent again!
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair 50ml - £69.00
What a sad day it was when this serum ran out. I've never fully reviewed it as it's the old formula, but it was one of those dependable, all round great serums, that you use when you don't know what else to!
Re-purchase? I'd love to try the new formula when I can afford to.
Green People Gentle Cleanse and Make-up Remover 200ml - £17.96
This is another of those completely dependable and reliable products that is oh so necessary in a beauty arsenal. It has a gorgeous creamy formula that gently removes my makeup and feels calming and soothing on my skin. Full review here.
Re-purchase? Yes.
I received this shower gel as a free gift with a purchase from Urban Retreat Boutique ages ago, but only recently got round to using it. It is SLS free yet lathers well, but the citrus scent was too subtle for my liking.
Re-purchase? No, but if I wanted to I couldn't anyway - it doesn't seem to be available anymore.
Nivea Creme 50ml - £1.49
I carry around a pot of this un-exciting but necessary cream in my handbag. In the winter I tend to get very dry, flaky skin around my nose and this pot is just for those times!
Re-purchase? I already have.
L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer in Light - £8.49
I have seriously dark circles so I use the Lumi Magique highlighting pen to try and add a touch of brightness. It's great to use under or over coverage concealers as the formula is quite thin. It's something that just does the job with no fuss! Full review here.
Re-purchase? I keep forgetting to when I go to Boots, but definitely yes when I remember!
Green People Foaming Face Wash 100ml* - £10.95
Another Green People cleanser! Free from SLS and alcohol, this produces a light foam, which made it more suitable for my morning cleanse. It freshens and clarifies my skin without being drying; especially great if my skin feels oily when I wake up. Full review here.
Re-purchase? Now it's winter I want to use something heavier, but next summer, yes.
What products have you used up this month? Are you a fan of any of the above products?
