Say hello to my new custom phone case from Castegram! My bird print case from Accessorize has been put away in the cupboard for the time being to adorn my iPhone 5S in this beauty.
Castegram is an American based website where you can make your own photo case out of photos directly from your Instagram, Facebook or from your computer, for a small range of phones that cover the iPhones, iPads and Samsung Galaxies. You can design your case using a computer or you can download the Castegram app to do it on your phone. First of all you choose from a range of design templates to upload your photos to. I chose the template "Rand" as I liked the layout with the different sized squares. I decided to choose some family pictures (my niece, my little sister, my fiance and my dog!) and then a few of various locations that mean a lot to me. Once you've completed your design, there are a couple of different cases to choose from and the one I chose is called "Classic Snap in Frosty Charcoal", which is just 2.5mm thick to show off the phone's slim profile but is also impact resistant to protect the phone from scratches, drops and dust.
Coming from America, my Castegram delivery took a few weeks to arrive, but it was worth the wait. I am so, so pleased with the case. The photos are clear, colourful and look fantastic, with a slight sheen from the case in the light. I have had a LOT of positive comments on it and just looking at people and places I love on my phone every day gives me a really happy feeling when I'm a bit down. I was a little hesitant about how the case would perform at first because it is so thin, however it's been on my phone for weeks now through many accidental drops on the floor and it still looks as good as new! Love, love, love.
A custom case for the iPhone 5S from Castegram costs $39.95, which is around £25.00 and shipping is free worldwide. I think this is a good price that I would expect to pay for a high quality, custom printed case. Castegram have kindly offered my readers a 10% discount off the full price until 28th February 2014 using the code BEAUTYBIRD, so make sure you take advantage if you fancy one of these for your phone!

Have you used Castegram before? Is a custom phone case something you would treat yourself to?
