Love Me Beauty Box January 2014

Well hello to the very first Love Me Beauty Box of the year! I had high expectations for this month's box and boy it is good! Love Me Beauty have definitely upped their game and there's not a Lord and Berry product in sight. This box contains 5 products; 3 of these are full size and 3 of these are also brands that have never featured in a Love Me Beauty Box before! I chose Menu Two, which along with the other menus, costs £10.00 plus postage.

 NYX Cosmetics Single Eyeshadow in Cryptonite (full size, worth £5.00)

(The accompanying menu said the shade "Rock" but also that shades may vary slightly.)

NYX pressed mineral eye shadows are packed with colour, easy to blend and will last for hours. This shimmery black eyeshadow can be used for the ultimate smokey eye look. 

Weleda Sea Buckhorn Hand Cream 10ml (sample size, worth £1.79)

Rich in vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids, the precious sea buckhorn and sesame oils in this soothing balm gives rough, dry, hard-working hands an intense moisture boost.

Anatomicals You Need a Blooming Shower! - Rose and Jasmine Body Cleanser 250ml (full size, worth £3.00)

This cleanser features a soothing mix of Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel with Rose and Jasmine scents. This relaxing shower gel leaves the skin feeling cleansed and refreshed.

Pureology Colour Stylist Silk Bodifier 65ml (sample size, worth £3.90)

This 100% vegan rich mousse adds fullness and volume without feeling heavy and leaves hair beautifully soft and shiny, plus it protects and maximises the vibrancy of colour treated hair.

 Cosmetics à la Carte Divine Lash Mascara in Black (full size, worth £23.00)

Divine Lash has a slim, tapered, flexible brush, perfect for reaching every lash from corners to bottom lashes. This mascara creates length and definition with the advantage of no clumps.

In total this box is worth £36.69 and contains a fantastic mix of products covering makeup, bodycare and haircare. I am most excited about the NYX Cosmetics Eyeshadow (it may get me closer to achieving my beauty resolution of the perfect smokey eye) and the Cosmetics à la Carte Divine Lash Mascara (a brand I've never tried before and a high end one at that!). I'm also glad to see another Weleda product because I didn't get on with the last one I've tried, which was a shampoo, but I've seen lots of positive reviews about the brand as a whole. Plus you can never have enough hand cream and it's the perfect size for popping in your handbag. The Anatomicals shower gel is a seriously generous size for the price and the sweet (but very) rose scent makes it one I'll use in Spring/Summer. I'm intrigued by the Pureology Colour Stylist Silk Bodifier as I haven't used mousse for years... hopefully it'll provide plenty of volume with no crispiness!
