October Empties #2

Another month over means another set of empties to share with you all! I can't believe that Christmas is less than 8 weeks away, how quick has this year gone?! Here's what I used up in October.

Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer 200ml - £13.50
This bottle of hydrating toner spray has lasted me six months, which is very impressive considering I used it around 3 times everyday! I use it after cleansing to inject moisture back into my skin and throughout the day to refresh and revitalise. I love this because it is alcohol free and contains lots of naturally active ingredients, such as Aloe Vera, Glycerin and Geranium Essential Oil. Full review here.
Re-purchase? Yes I already have.

Wild Bluebell Candle by Kiss-Air Candles* - £8.50
Candles by Kiss-Air are made from natural soyabean (vegetable) wax and fragrance oil, which means they burn cleaner and for longer. This had a lovely, fresh scent and burnt evenly and cleanly without sooting. Wild Blubell was a limited edition scent that unfortunately is no longer available, however Kiss-Air do a range of other delicious sounding scents. Full review here.
Re-purchase? I have the Puncy Peach and Blueberry Cheesecake scents on my wishlist!

Lush Bombardino Bath Bomb - £2.50
Bombardino is a cute and uplifting bath bomb that smells of buttery lemon and contains ingredients like Cocoa Butter, Sicilian Lemon Oil and Bergamot Oil. It leaves your skin super soft and with a dusting of gold lustre. Full review here.
Re-purchase? Not at the moment but I definitely would again.

Dr Organic Virgin Coconut Oil Hand and Nail Cream 100ml - £5.99
I love this hand cream - it contains lots of natural and organic ingredients, it absorbs within 10 seconds and it's extremely nourishing and hydrating for both your skin and nails. I find that it has reduced peeling on my nails considerably. It's the perfect hand cream for using before bed or on the go, because you don't have to wait ages for it to sink in. Full review here.
Re-purchase? I already have another one!

Apvita Express Beauty Gentle Exfoliating Gel with Apricot - FREE (worth £1.50)
I mentioned this sample in my recent 5 Mini Reviews post, which I received in a blogger meetup goody bag. I found that it eliminates dry skin really well and makes my skin look fresher and brighter afterwards. However the exfoliating apricot seeds are really concentrated and felt a little too abrasive and uncomfortable.
Purchase full size? No.

balance Me Super Toning Body Wash 100ml - FREE (worth £9.00)
This body wash was a Glamour magazine freebie a few months ago. It contains 99% natural ingredients and has a strong essential oil based scent. I used this up really quickly; it's SLS free and I found I had to use a lot to get a decent lather. I also didn't notice any toning of my skin, although the formulation is nice and hydrating.
Purchase myself? No.

bareMinerals Prime Time Foundation Primer 30ml - £21.00
£21.00 is the RRP for this but it can be picked up cheaper on quite a few beauty sites. It's silicone based but also contains plant extracts, anti-oxidants and Vitamins C and E. It's great for extending the wear time of foundation but doesn't combat excess oil as it claims to. Full review here.
Re-purchase? No - I didn't feel like this was "the one", so I'm trying the Laura Mercier Oil Free Primer instead.

Weleda Millet Nourishing Shampoo 18ml* - worth £0.85
This little sample size came in October's Love Me Beauty Box. It contains organic macadamia nut oil and extracts of organic millet husks to gently cleanse normal hair. I didn't get many uses out of this, but when I did I just couldn't seem to get it to work on my hair. It didn't lather up at all and just sort of clung to my hair, so I ended up washing it out with a different shampoo.
Purchase full size? No.

What empties have you used up this month? Have you tried any of the above products before?
