My First Ever MAC Eyeshadow and Pro Palette Eyeshadow Quad

Since blogging I have been very, very lucky to meet some absolutely lovely ladies. One of these ladies is Clare from A Bit of This and That, who sent me an amazing and so generous package in the post the other day. I've been dying to start a MAC Pro Palette for awhile now and Clare kindly offered to send me one of her unused quads. When I received it I was stunned to find an eyeshadow in with the palette too - All That Glitters! This is the shade I would probably have bought first, as it's absolutely beautiful. Thank you so, so much Clare!

All That Glitters is a Veluxe Pearl finish, which is known for being a very pigmented finish, with a buttery texture and metallic shimmer. All That Glitters is described by MAC as being "a soft beige shade with gold pearl". I would say that this shade is more of a shimmery golden peach and despite the name, it doesn't actually contain any glitter particles. It's perfect all over the lid for everyday wear but I think it would also look great as a base colour for a bronze smokey eye. As promised, the texture is soft and buttery. I always wondered about the quality of these and All That Glitters isn't powdery and there is barely any loose excess when you sweep a brush across the surface. Love, love, love!!

What are your favourite MAC eyeshadow shades? What shade would you recommend to pair with All That Glitters?

    1. That's the only thing, it's not cheap to do! When they do 10% off at Debenhams that would be a good time to buy one! xx

  9. Lucky you! I have yet to own anything from Mac, but the eyeshadows seem to be what people rave about most, so maybe I should bit the bullet and splash out!

    1. My MAC collection is quite modest - a few lippies and this eyeshadow. But you can tell the quality is amazing! xx
