August Empties

I'm pointing out the obvious here, but August is over and September has arrived; I can't believe Autumn is on its way! I'm hoping that the warm, sunny weather holds out a bit longer though as I'm off to Cornwall this weekend! Here's what products I used up this month.

Garnier Simply Essentials Soothing 2 in 1 Make-up Remover 200ml - £2.99
I bought this make-up remover mainly because it contains no perfume or alcohol, and it definitely didn't irritate or dry out my skin. I wouldn't say it was the best at removing mascara though. I also got irritated by the application in the end; the formula is two different coloured liquids, which you have to shake to mix before using.
Re-purchase? No - I've purchased the L'Oreal Micellar Water instead.

Ginvera Green Tea Whitening Marvel Gel 60ml - £19.95
I really enjoyed using this and much prefer it to traditional grainy exfoliating scrubs. This is a green gel which you massage into your skin and any dirt and dead skin transforms into white flakes. It exfoliates without being harsh, leaving skin softer and brighter. Full review here.
Re-purchase? Not at the moment, only as I'm trying out an exfoliating toner instead.

Physician's Formula Organic Wear 100% Natural Origin Pressed Powder - £4.99
I picked up this little talc free bargain at TKMaxx. You open one side to reveal the powder and the other side to reveal a mirror and brush. The packaging isn't all that sturdy but I really liked the powder itself. It sets makeup well and gives a light to medium coverage.
Re-purchase? I would but Physician's Formula as a brand isn't readily available in the U.K. and I've been back to TKMaxx a few times but can't find it! So I've purchased a more expensive one from Green People instead.

The Body Shop Vineyard Peach Shower Gel 250ml - £4.00
I do like The Body Shop shower gels - you can't go wrong with them really! I love peach scents and this one is great for summer; fruity and fresh. It's a little too subtle though, I wish it was a bit stronger so it stayed with me for longer!
Re-purchase? No - I just don't love it enough. Plus I have plenty of shower gels in my bathroom cupboard to work through!

Jenoris Samples - Shampoo for Coloured and Dry Hair / Keratin Shampoo Sodium Chloride Free for Frizzy or Chemically Straightened Hair - FREE
I received these in my goody bag from the blogger meetup I attended in July. These shampoos have a gorgeous scent and should be left in for a few minutes before rinsing. They contain Pistachio and Borage Oils with Omega 3, 6 and 9. They make my hair feel amazing, they're probably the most moisturising shampoos I have ever tried!
Purchase full size? The full size of both of these is £16.00, which is quite expensive. I would love to treat myself to one of these shampoos when I can afford it.

What empties have you used up this month?
