Guest Post - Tattooed Tealady: Top 5 Bronzers

Hi everyone, my name is Sophia and I run a little blog called Tattooed Tealady. I mainly blog about beauty whether it be makeup, skincare, body care or hair care. But I also add the odd lifestyle post and book review in every now and then to mix things up! I am here today writing a guest post for the lovely Sasha and I am going to be sharing with you my top five bronzers!

Tealady’s Top 5 Bronzers
I’ve always been a bronzer girl. I’m naturally tanned as my family is half Cypriot. So I’ve been blessed with naturally tanned olive skin than tans beautifully in the sun. For me, bronzer is the natural choice for my face and complexion and I reach for bronzer 9 times out of 10, and only rarely use a blusher. I have a lot of bronzers, I just can’t stop buying them because they are something I use everyday! And picking my top five was a hard thing to do! But I got there eventually, and here they are!

It seems only fair to start with my absolute favourite bronzer, ever. A lot of you will have heard of this bronzer as it is a favourite in the blogosphere. When I bought it, I felt shocked, scared and nervous as I passed over my card to pay £25 for this bronzer. Yes, £25. But my golly gosh was it worth it. I have never found a bronzer as perfect as this, and it really deserves all the hype it gets. It’s great for contouring, great for normal bronzer application, and all over. It has a very, slight, teeny-tiny shimmer to it, but to me it’s a matte bronzer and I adore it!

This bronzer is an absolute bargain buy at just £1.99! It’s also the bronzer I have repurchased the most over the years. It is quite a shimmery bronzer, but in a ‘golden glow’ kind of way. I love this for bronzing and for highlighting and it looks lovely on the apple of your cheeks! My favourite product from Natural Collection!!

This is the newest bronzer in my collection but I love it! It’s got five gorgeous shades ranging from a beautiful highlight to beautiful golden bronze shades. You can use them separately, or together, but I opt for using them together. It is so easy to blend too, I just love it! And again, it’s a total bargain bronzer at just £3.49!!

This one is a little bit more on the pricey side like the NARS one and retails for £20.50. But for a mineral, cruelty-free, vegan friendly, halal certified and general all round good for your skin organic bronzer, I love it! It’s quite matte, and beautiful for contouring and perfect for those days when you want a modest, subtle bronzed look!

BM Beauty Summer Warmth
I got a sample of this bronzer in a Glossybox and at first I was like ‘WHY! It’s horrible!’ But I have been using it more and more lately and it’s actually beautiful. I would definitely consider purchasing the full size once I have finished it, because it’s a reasonable £8 for a cruelty free brand. I really love this for contouring because it’s great at defining my face!

So those are my top five bronzers! I genuinely believe there is a bronzer out there for any skin tone and complexion. I know a lot of paler beauties tend to stray away from bronzers but there is definitely one out there for everyone, even the palest of beauties! Do you have any of these bronzers? What is your favourite bronzer? I’d love to hear your thoughts and recommendations! You can find me on my blog over at Tattooed Tealady, or on Twitter where I am always happy to have a natter! @tattooedtealady! I also run a weight-loss blog which you can find over at Bloggers Go Skinny! I am also running a giveaway on my blog right now to win 29 products! It’s International! So pop over and enter for your chance to win! I hope you all enjoyed my post, and thank you Sasha for having me!
Love, Sophia xo

  1. What a great post by her! Nice range of bronzers, for sure. The only I have and LOVE is Benefit Hoola bronzer. Before I got that, I was deciding between Hoola and Laguna. How would you compare Laguna to Hoola, if you know? Also, I'm a little disappointed with the pigmentation of Laguna compared to the rest of the swatches, but overall, they look great! Thanks for sharing :)

    1. I'm glad you liked my guest post :) Laguna is a lot lighter than I usually go with a bronzer but it looks far better and more flattering on the cheek and works as a great contour shade. I don't actually have Beneit Hoola so I can't compare the two, sorry :) xo
